With close to a decade of experience in the finance sector and a commitment for navigating complex challenges, Elena assumes a key role at Brightspark. As the CFO, she is responsible for overseeing all financial facets of the company, ensuring its financial stability, and directing it towards sustained, long-term growth.

Elena has a background in servicing privately owned, entrepreneurial clients and plays a pivotal role in maintaining active engagement with the firm's investing institutions and corporate partners. Her experience and work approach extends beyond the traditional boundaries of the financial sector, with a distinct ability to lead through change.

She previously held the role of audit manager at KPMG LLP where she led multiple audits concurrently, and gained recognition for the quality of her work and leadership. Her commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives, providing ongoing mentorship to junior colleagues and building relationships with her clients were all attributes for which she was recognized. Elena also contributed her time to the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal, acting as an advisor in the role of Director of Finance.

Within the firm, Elena also leads Human Resources initiatives, is an advocate for women leadership and acts as a valuable resource for the Brightspark team.
